This time, I was able to win the Gold Prize for my July entry (semi-cursive style).

 I submit calligraphy entries every month, and following my win last December, this is the first time I’ve won the Gold Prize for a semi-cursive style piece two months in a row, so I’m very happy.

 I believe it is important not only to train in martial arts and martial disciplines but also to preserve what I have learned by putting it into writing.

  I have also written scrolls depicting the martial art I have studied (Bokuden-ryu), and I will continue to strive to improve my ability to 『convey what I have learned to future generations through calligraphy』.

  I will always aim for greater heights.
