What’s New

Certification

Five years ago, at the age of 28, I devoted myself to intensive training and practice in martial arts and martial disciplines, and was able to learn various schools, techniques, and forms (kata) from my master, Mr. Kuniyuki Kai.
Now that I’m 33, when I look back on those days, I feel a sense of nostalgia, but at the same time, I realize there are things I need to be careful about now.
That is 『certification』. I was able to receive martial arts and budo certifications (such as licenses, full mastery, and headmaster status) primarily from Master Kuniyuki Kai, and I still believe that 「obtaining certifications」 is important.
However, I have come to realize that what is equally important is 「moving my body, working up a sweat, and engaging in training and practice」.
「Obtaining certifications」 and 「moving my body, working up a sweat, and engaging in rigorous training and practice」. I will continue to cherish both of these going forward, and I will strive to improve my overall abilities and continue to refine my skills.
