Before heading to work as a social worker, I did my morning Okinawa Goju-ryu karatedo practice (Sanchin, Tensho), a 3-km jog, a 3-km run, and strength training.
Although I did this amid strong winds and rain as a typhoon approached, I felt very strongly that it was a highly rewarding experience.
Whether indoors or outdoors, whether the weather is sunny or stormy with heavy rain and wind—I am mindful of balancing work with personal development and am committed to continuously improving myself in various environments and situations.
For my part, I will continue to make steady progress, one step at a time, doing what I can right now.
